In this episode of the podcast show Larry and I had a chance to bring on Jimi Day, Executive Director of the Ultimate Street Car Association (USCA). This this has been the first year of USCA's existence, and since it's been the lynchpin series behind the Optima Batteries Search for the Ultimate Street Car Series (as well as the TV show) we asked Jimi to come on and give us a recap of the year to date, discussed what has gone well, what hasn't, and what events remain this year in the series. The next big event is at historic Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida.....this weekend!
As a reminder, the "Spirit of the Event" winner, not the fastest car from each event is the one that received the invitation to the big Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational in Las Vegas at the end of the year. This means that anyone has a fair shot to make it in - with a positive attitude and passion for fun as the main drivers required to win!
