Feature Interview with Rodney Prouty:
Ultimate Street Car Qualifier!
In this episode of the show Larry and I had the chance to interview Rodney Prouty, the latest winner of a "Spirit of the Event" USCA award, and thus the latest qualifier for the 2014 Ultimate Street Car Invitational!
Rodney and his partner Suzy have been involved in the Pro-Touring world since 2010, and (like a lot of us) fell in love with the sport as much as the people within it. Rodney's '68 Camaro was a complete (but rough) car he purchased in California for $100 from a little 'ol lady, and he built it up using second hand parts purchased from customers of the Camaro restoration company he was working for at the time. He and Suzy recently moved to Indiana for Rodney's new position at Ridetech.
During the interview Rodney shared a bit of his background, and we really dug into how it's possible for anyone to compete for the Spirit of the Event award at Ultimate Street Car events!
