The featured guest for this episode of  The Cars For A Living Podcast was none other than Randy Pobst, professional sports car race driver, instructor, and author, and over the past 30 years he's found a way to make his passion of driving fast his profession. He's raced in SCCA World Challenge Touring Car series, won championships, is a factory backed driver for Mazda, but has also raced for Porsche and Volvo,  writes for SCCA Magazine as well as Motor Trend, and he is basically - everywhere!

I asked Randy on the show to discuss his nearly 30+ year career, not because I wanted driving instruction, but because I wanted to hear his career insights. Specifically, becoming and staying a professional race car driver is something that a lot of us aspire to, but very few achieve. It's hard. It takes serious work, sacrifice, and even a little luck.

Randy was very gracious during this interview and asked every question I threw at him with full honesty. I think this is an episode that people will listen to again and again!
