For 2014 there are many new venues to race your car, but perhaps none is bigger than the all new Ultimate Street Car Association sanctioning body. Jimi Day announced it's creation during the 2013 Pro-Touring.com dinner, so for this episode of the show we decided to bring Jimi on to get the full run down of it all. Jimi described the sanctioning body overall, how each event works, and what made it different than the Optima sponsored events from previous years.
Long story short, if you want to be able to race your own car at some insanely history venues, and want to do it in a fairly safe environment (even optional driver instruction), that's what the USA has been created for. The venue list is below and Jimi did disclose the different pricing points to attend a weekend of massive racing fun. The format of each event will be somewhat familiar to people (autocross, road course, steep/stop, design), but with as much emphasis as possible on seat time.
