The 1970 Detroit Speed test car at speed!
In this episode of the Cars For a Living podcast we had the chance to do a full "Under the Hood" interview with Kyle and Stacy Tucker, the husband and wife dynamo behind Detroit Speed and Engineering! DSE is (today) an aftermarket suspension powerhouse that made a name for itself by creating OEM caliber race-bred suspension for first and second generation Camaro's. Since opening in 2001 they've moved quickly into several other models of vehicles, including A-Body GM cars, Chevy II, 68-74 Nova's, G-Body GM cars, and even 64-70 Mustangs. During the interview they shared how they've gone about developing their product lines, why they've chosen to focus strictly on a premium level product, and the balance they must maintain to work in an industry that plays on the weekends (meaning off time is rare)! |
