This is the first of two "Bonus" episodes that we will present to
you, both of which were recorded during some exclusive seminar panel
discussions during the 2012 SEMA Show.
Panelists included Chris
Douglas from COMP Performance, Ed Capen from Goodguys Rod & Custom
Association, Ed Monte from MSD Performance, Mike Alvarez from
Roush-Yates, and Troy Trepanier from Rad Rides by Troy.
This particular seminar dove into the
topic of asking how how some of the top brands in the automotive
aftermarket are managing their customer relationships. Topics discussed
included "how much communication is too much," how do build shops keep
specific customers informed on their cars, how large
manufacturers communicate with their customers, how to handle "problem"
customers, and more.
