2013 GM LS-Powered New Model Preview!

In this episode of the [podcast show John and I discussed 3 of the newest models expected to come out from GM that will have an LS (or LT1) variant. The good news is that they're all rear wheel drive, and they should all be reeeeeeealy fast.

1) 2014 Chevy SS

It's no huge secret that when Pontiac killed the G8 that they killed one of the coolest high speed sedans in their lineup. Luckily for us, it's coming back....but as a Chevy. The new "SS" will be shorter than it's cop-car/taxi-cab sibling (the Caprice) and will be the vehicle of choice for Chevy teams in NASCAR. The car itself is actually a 2014 model, but you'll see it on the banks of Daytona in just a few months.

2) 2013 Camaro 1LE

The 1LE will be hitting the lots soon, and it is (sort of) a poor-man's ZL1, but is more specifically geared to autocrossing SCCA warriors. Even better, all of the parts on it that make it a 1LE can be purchased from your GM dealer to convert your existing Camaro SS into a 1LE.

3) 201? Grand National

The Buick is back! We discussed the platform, and which motor we expect to see in it. Let's hope that it comes in black....
