Recent Classifieds at The MuscleCar Place! '70s Corvettes like this 1974 Stingray are an awesome way to get into
the Corvette hobby without a huge investment. Where else are you going
to get a powerful V8, curvaceous 2-seater bodywork, and an
all-independent suspension that can still run with some pretty serious
hardware, all for under $20,000?
Finished in original Mille Miglia Red, there's no denying the appeal of the C3 bodywork. Everybody, car person or not, can instantly identify a Corvette like this, and they remain an icon of performance, even forty years later. This one is in good condition, too, with good fiberglass that looks highly original and undamaged and an older paint job that looks authentic. Remember that the best Corvettes are not perfect, but rather finished the way the factory would have done it, and this one has an air of originality to it that is refreshing in a sea of over-restored 'Vetes. The '74 model is a favorite among C3 fans, too, thanks to its combination of the new urethane front and rear bumpers and original flying buttress C-pillars, which create a unique look ... Read More 1970 Ford Torino Cobra This is a tremendous find. 429ci 360hp 4V V8 cobra purchased from its original owner. Full numbers matching example. This torino maintains a close ratio 4 speed transmission and traction-lok rear end with 3.25 gears. Options include: power steering, power disc brakes, rear window sport slats and full tinted glass. New ford yellow #3470 finish surrounds an original bucket seat console interior with gauge package, visibility light group, tachometer, deluxe seat belts with warning light and am radio with dual rear seat speakers. 1965 Ford Falcon
Yes, this car is as awesome as it looks. The cool thing about early
Falcons is that all the goodies available for Mustangs will simply bolt
right on. If you're looking for something a little different, with a
pony car punch under the hood, this 1965 Ford Falcon resto-mod might be
just what you need.
That brilliant black paint job surely didn't come cheap, and it's a refreshing change to see a Falcon dressed to the 9s-it almost looks like a miniature Galaxie, especially with that red accent stripe on its flanks. Someone spent a lot of time getting the body to fit together just right, and an even bigger chunk of time block sanding every square inch to get it flat enough for the high-gloss black urethane. There are no modifications, not even a scoop on the hood, adding to the car's low-profile cool, but nobody will overlook this one at a show, not when it looks this good. All the chrome and trim was retained as well, from the bright chrome bumpers, to the simple grille, to the twin round taillights surely designed to resemble a pair of jet exhausts.
