1972 Chevrolet Corvette
This '72 Stingray has been nicely restored, and includes some options like factory A/C as well as a matching-numbers drivetrain. Reasonably priced Corvettes are out there, and there just can't be many nicer than this. The engine is the original, matching numbers ZQ3 350 cubic inch V8, which was the base engine in 1972. Nevertheless, it makes an impressive 360 pounds of torque and moves the Corvette with enough potency that most cars are still advised to leave it alone. The engine bay shows signs of loving care throughout its life, and though much of it has been restored and the engine rebuilt, the condition of the inner fenders and firewall suggest that this car has always been clean. With just under 1100 miles on the rebuild, the small block V8 runs beautifully, starting almost instantly and happily running through the rev rage every chance it gets. Underneath you'll find a solid, original chassis with no issues or warning signs. The original TH400 3-speed automatic still shifts the gears, and a new dual exhaust system was installed during the rebuild. While most Corvettes wear Rally wheels, I really like the wheel covers on this one, which are correct and seldom seen, and it rides on a fresh set of 215/70/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials.
1970 Plymouth Cuda 440-6 Barrel
This is an absolutely stunning, original V-code cuda from Arizona Classics. Fresh rotisserie restoration. 440ci 390hp 3-2BBL HP V8 with pistol grip 4spd transmission and 9.75" DANA60 rear end with A33 track pack (3.54 gears). Options include: power disc brakes, power steering (upgraded to rack/pinion), HEMI suspension system, heavy duty cooling package, and N96 shaker hood. Other items include: rear wing, hood tie down pins, bright exhaust tips and chrome sport mirrors. A beautiful show quality finish surrounds a perfect bucket seat console interior, featuring full rallye gauge cluster and original music master AM radio. This one is fresh, perfect throughout, and drives better than new!
1965 Ford Mustang
Finally, here's a '70 Camaro from Streetwise Classics. The center console features GM's awesome horseshoe shifter for the TH350 3-speed automatic underneath. Upgrades include a new Vintage Air HVAC system with controls in the original location and an AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit that fits so neatly you'll swear it's factory-installed. Although it's doing its best impression of a '60s Corvette motor, the engine is actually a 350 cubic inch crate motor that was installed in 2010. Rated at 325 horsepower, it's dressed like an L79, complete with stock air cleaner wearing 350 horsepower decals. A Holley 4-barrel carburetor atop an aluminum intake probably adds a few horsepower, and makes this car extremely easy to drive. Underneath, the chassis is shockingly clean, with no sign of rust or rot anywhere-42-year-old cars are NEVER this clean. Flowmaster supplied the dual exhaust system, and it rolls on a set of optional Z/28 alloys wearing 215/65/15 Firestones. With just 471 miles since the rebuild, this is an awesome second-generation F-body that's ready to rock.
