1969 Plymouth Road Runner

This 1969 Roadrunner convertible is rare in that less than 1000 Roadrunner convertibles in total (773 in 1969 & 200 in 1970) were built with a 4-speed manual transmission. It is even rarer to find one that is factory equipped with bucket seats and a console. The car has been refinished in its original color.  The floor-pans of the car are original and are in excellent condition, still carrying much of the original factory undercoating. The frame rails are solid and exhibit no signs of rust. It is not the original engine but it appears to be a "warranty engine" or a "service engine" as evidenced by a blank serial number pad (indicating that it was obtained from a parts department and not another car), a date code from 1970 (which would be correct for a warranty engine), and a correct casting code for a 383CID engine.  Current price is 39,600 after 12 bids.
