1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS

Sometimes cars show up here at Streetside Classics and create a buzz before they're even inside the building. This 1969 Camaro RS coupe is such a car, with a brilliant paint job, a thumping small block under the hood, and a tastefully restored interior, it's what many of us think of when we picture the ultimate early F-body.  All the proper RS components are in place, from the blacked-out grille with hidden headlights, to the RS badges on all four sides. New carpets, door panels, and a fresh headliner make it feel showroom fresh inside, and you can't argue with the brilliant interior design of 1960s General Motors cars. The 350 cubic inch small block makes a very stout 460 dyno-proven horsepower. A Muncie 4-speed feeds a heavy-duty 12-bolt rear, and the undercarriage is every bit as nice as the rest of the car.
