On our Podcast This Week:

Feature Segment:

Albert Melchior, Bill Howell, Bret Voelkel, Yancy Johns, and Brian Finch. Albert, Bill, Yancy, and Brian are the founders of the American StreetCar Series. Bret is the owner of RideTech and is an all around cool guy.

This week's show features an interview with not one, but three different people. Brian Finch, Yancy Johns, and Bill Howell all came onto the show to discuss the formation of the American StreetCar Series, which will kick off officially in 2012!

The ASCS is the culmination of several years of the successful "Run To" events that have become popular in the Pro Touring community over the past few years. The first event, Run Through the Hills, was organized by Bill Howell with several of the friends he'd made at the popular pro touring forum, Pro-Touring.com. The event was a success, led to other events in other areas of the country, and now has grown into a full out movement where enthusiasts can push their cars and driving skills to the limit on the autocross, road course, and speed-stop tests. Over the years the aftermarket has responded in full force as well, and now companies like Detroit Speed & Engineering, Hotchkis, and Ride Tech all household names in the world of pro touring.
